Beth Labonte was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts, leaving her with a lifelong love of the fall season and all things spooky (just not TOO spooky). She wrote full-time for several years until a certain pandemic drove her out of her mind, and she returned to work as a legal assistant. Beth still lives in Massachusetts (though in a much less interesting town), with her husband, son, and cat.
